Course Structure:	Theory & application of client consultation with the parent/guardian, ailments & contraindications, reactions, health & safety, client care, history and concept, anatomy & physiology, development phases, sleep patterns & states, colic, styles of parenting, effects of depression of the mother, appropriate legislation applicable to
	massage treatment, issues surrounding ‘consent’, bonding with infant/child, physiological and psychological effects.   It is recommended that the learner do a Basic First Aid course before commencing with this course.

Hot Stone Massage - R3000
Course Structure:	Swedish Massage is a pre-requisite subject. Theory & application on client consultation, contraindications, health & safety, types of stones, properties & uses, historical & cultural background, muscles & bones of the body, basic anatomy & physiology systems, physical & psychological effects of hot stone therapy.
Course fee:	R3 000 includes kit fee, learning material & tea/coffee. Kit does not include the stone warmer. Can be purchased from school or elsewhere.

Sports Massage - R12 000
Course Structure:	Swedish Massage is a pre-requisite subject. The main aim of a sports massage therapy course is to enable learners to gain the practical and theoretical skills necessary to provide a suitable treatment to a variety of clients with specific needs. With this course you will be able to confidently identify injuries, identify suitable treatments and be able to advise clients on caring for and preventing injuries. The course includes the following:
