SILHOUETTE SOFT from Genop Healthcare

Genop Healthcare is excited to announce the introduction of the new SILHOUETTE SOFT, a facelift technique using a unique suspension suture based minimally-invasive procedure.

Over the last decade the number of patients wanting minimally invasive cosmetic procedures has increased substantially. For those patients not wanting open surgery or a general anaesthetic and a faster recovery time, face and neck lifts using suture lift techniques is an option.

The first revolution in sutures for non-invasive face lifts were the barbed sutures but results were disappointing with asymmetries, short lasting results and breaking of threads. Clinically they seemed to provide little traction on tissue after one month of healing.

A suture was then developed where resorbable cones were inserted between retaining knots on a polypropylene suture. The development of SILHOUETTE SOFT threads followed this requiring no surgical procedure.

The unique SILHOUETTE SOFT threads are the only sutures with bidirectional resorbable cones on polylactic acid sutures offering your patients a non-surgical alternative to the more invasive anti-ageing treatments. SILHOUETTE SOFT has long lasting benefits as the polylactic acid degradation is slower.

The absorbable cones have a 360° surface to resist suspension tracking resulting in strong fixation in the subcutaneous tissue while the fibrous reaction around the cones creates a 3 solid support on the soft tissue – there is no migration or extrusion. The bidirectional orientation of the cones allows for less weight and therefore less tension being applied to the cones. The tissues are concentrated between the anchoring end and the holding end and the cones are used in both repositioning the soft tissue and in restoring volume.

Dual action - SILHOUETTE SOFT has a lift action for immediate but discreet results. Once the suture has been inserted the focus area can be redefined by compressing the tissue and lifting the skin. There is also a regenerating action for gradual and natural results resulting from the re-absorption of polylactic acid in the subcutaneous tissue which stimulates fibroblast activation and collagen production restoring shapeliness to the face. Results will 3 last for up to 18 months.

The procedure using SILHOUETTE SOFT is a 30 minute treatment, performed in an office setting, under local anaesthesia without sedation and the recovery time is the same as that for fillers or Botulinum Toxin Type A application.

If your patient needs a filler to augment volume, Genop Healthcare has also recently introduced Perfectha, a range of filler/implant gels using the E-Brid technology which is a cross linking process making it possible to create covalent bonds within and between hyaluronic acid particles. Perfectha treatments produce immediately visible results which last over time due to its slow, uniform isovolumetric degradation and its ability to absorb water in the body more easily than other implants.
