Professional Beauty JHB 2016 a Success!

Professional Beauty draws the crowds

Some 17,372 industry professionals visited the Professional Beauty Johannesburg Expo, the biggest trade show of its kind in Africa, which ran at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand on 28 and 29 August.

Leading brands in the beauty, nails, skincare, salon and spa equipment and medical aesthetics sectors  were represented at the show, such as Environ, Dermalogica, Elemis, Gelish, Morgan Taylor, Young Nails,  Bio Sculpture, Calgel OPI, Kalahari, pHformula, Black Pearl, Artistic, IBD, Phytomer, Skin Doctors, Priori,  Beaucience, Lilian Terry International, nailsforu, Six Skin Care, Spalicious, Ocean Therapy BTL, Lumenis,  Viora, Alma Lasers, Syneron, Cocoon, Venus Concept, Extreme Lashes, The Lash Collection, Luscious  Lashes, Kryolan, MUD, Nouveau Contour, among many others.

“There has been a much higher quality of interaction from a business point of view at this year’s Professional Beauty,” said Michelle Roberts from Black Pearl. “Professional Beauty 2016 was a very good show for us,” commented Derek Terry of Lilian Terry International. “We generated several good leads from the show,” commented Carina Franck of Kalahari.

“Shows like Professional Beauty are a massive billboard for your brand.” “The show has been great – we’ve had so many enquiries it’s been unbelievable,” stated Elizma Smith of  Extreme Lashes. “We had so many people visit our stand on the first day of the show that we could have done with three extra staff members to handle all the enquiries. I was very impressed to see more African brands exhibiting at the show,” said Ayesha Rajah of A&I Importers
