NeoStrata and Exuviance’s new products
Genop Healthcare held an event at 35 Ferguson in Sandton on 22 February to launch two new products – the NeoStrata Smooth Surface Daily Peel Pads and the Exuviance Deep Hydration Treatment.
NeoStrata was developed by Dr Van Scott and Dr Yu, the dermatologists who created the first glycolic peel and who discovered the rejuvenating powers of Alpha Hydroxy and Polyhydroxy Acids (AHAs and PHAs). Exuviance is NeoStrata’s salon line.
Genop Healthcare product manager, Kelly Jefferson, explained that the NeoStrata Smooth Surface Daily Peel Pads can be used at night like a restructuring serum, under a night cream.
She continued: “This is an easy, one-step peel system that does not require rinsing or neutralising. The product plumps skin and smooths wrinkles, while clarifying pores, refining skin texture and improving skin tone. It is paraben-free, fragrance-free and oil-free, with only 5% alcohol and is not tested on animals. Expertly formulated at an effective pH using a NeoStrata-developed delivery system for gentle yet optimal skin penetration, the product contains 10% glycolic acid, as well as the patented, revolutionary Aminofil, which increases collagen and hyaluronic acid. NeoStrata products are tested from start to finish and this product was part of a successful clinical study.”
Jefferson warned that the Smooth Surface Daily Peel Pads are not suitable for sensitive skin. The Deep Hydration Treatment from Exuviance can be used two or three times a week.
“It gives a lovely velvety texture to the skin and its key ingredient is Prodew,” said Jefferson. “This is a lightweight, intensely moisturising overnight serum with a water-gel texture that fights daily oxidative stress, as well as dryness and dehydration.”
Prodew refills deep reserves of natural skin moisture, known as NNF, restoring a feeling of suppleness and comfort. PHA/Bionics and Evening Primrose Oil strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. A potent anti-pollution complex, including the antioxidant Lilac Cell Culture Extract, helps to neutralise the effects of daily pollution and environmental damage.
