What is Body Sugaring? The body sugar paste is a 100% natural, safe and gentle solution to hair removal for women, men and children. Sugaring offers numerous unique and diverse benefits. The most important advantage is very fundamental: the
Alexandria technique extracts hair in its natural direction of growth and does so when the hair is still in the early growth stage, eliminating breakage, unnecessary discomfort, irritation and ingrown hairs while exfoliating dry skin cells.
The result: smooth, beautiful skin, without the discomforts of other hair removal techniques.
Why is Body Sugaring Different? There's a lot that separates Professional Body Sugaring from conventional hair removal methods such as waxing. See the difference for yourself.
Sugar Paste is 100% natural Most commercial waxes contain chemical additives that can cause skin irritations or allergic reactions with sensitive clients. The Sugar Paste is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and is not tested on animals.
Sugar Paste does not stick to the skin Waxes stick to the skin resulting in the removal of live skin cells. This makes it very painful and can cause bruising to the skin. The Sugar Paste, on the other hand, adheres to the hair and gently exfoliates only dead skin cells resulting in a much gentler treatment.
Advanced Sugar Paste is economical Since strips and sticks are not used and one piece of paste is sufficient for a large part of the body, the cost of materials used is substantially lower than waxing. Product usage varies from 4 to 7%.
Sugar Paste is water soluble No chemicals or solvents are required to remove sugar residue so clean up is much easier. The Sugar Paste is easily removed with warm water. There is no damage or staining to clothes or equipment, etc. In fact, none of the stickiness that usually accompanies waxing.
Advanced Sugar Paste is applie onto the skin by hand at luke-warm temperature Wax must be applied with an applicator and usually at a very hot temperature.
Sugar Paste is hygienic Since the paste is never re-used, there is no risk of cross-contamination that occurs with spatulas used for waxing. Sugar, being a natural preservative, will not allow bacteria to grow and will provide an indefinite shelf life for the paste.
Pre and After-care is more effective Pre-treatment and after-care products have all been carefully tested to eliminate any chance of skin irritation due to improper skin care before and after hair removal.
